With ‘Lightmaker’ now available I’m working on the sequel. Provisionally entitled ‘The Talent of the Actress’, it covers Phos’s future journey from young girl to woman, in a world which has changed beyond imagination.
Apologies for the long pause. The COVID-19 lockdown hit me hard, my asthma forced me to isolate which caused mental health problems. Turns out anti-depressants act like a sponge for creative thoughts. If I had any bright ideas over the last three months they’ve been stolen from me, and perhaps the thoughts now labour in a salt-mine somewhere.
I’m not taking the pills anymore and still feel fine, so I’ll keep writing. While writing the first draft of ‘Lightmaker’ I tried to write 500 words a day on each day of the week, except Friday, when I wore a T-shirt saying ‘It’s Thursday’. This helped my mental health a lot then, and hopefully writing regular amounts will mean no more pills.

Hello everyone. I’ve moved the site from WordPress.com to WordPress.org.
I’ve now selected a theme which I think works, so if you’ve been following this blog the sudden changes should cease. I’m still tinkering, but hope to add in extra functions soon.
